Stirling House Diner and Seafood Pavilion: A Cozy Culinary Retreat in Stirling, NJ

Congratulations to the Sterling House Diner. It's fantastic to have Debbie working back at the Diner. Her service is excellent. She's an experienced and caring server. I love how she knows her customers needs and wants. A credit to your establishment.

Was visiting my home state and went into my favorite diner and was lucky enough to get my favorite server Deb. She is a fabulous server who is always pleasant and on top of things. My omelette order was perfect and I was well taken care of. Highly recommend.

Great breakfast- from food to service! Deb our server was so on top of things and that makes a difference! My husband and I have stopped going to a few places because of bad service so Deb was much appreciated! My breakfast bomb was great- loved the corn beef hash! And my husband's omelette and home fries were very good. We'll be back- and hopefully get Deb again!

We recently stopped by Stirling House Diner in Stirling, NJ, and were pleasantly surprised by the overall experience. The atmosphere is cozy and casual, the diner itself was spotless, and the staff was super friendly. We were seated immediately, and our food arrived within ten minutes. We started with a matzo ball soup for my wife, which she really enjoyed. For mains, we had a Patty Melt with fries and a hot turkey sandwich with mashed potatoes. The patty melt was solid, but the fries really stole the show--crispy and flavorful. My hot turkey sandwich came with the gravy on the side, which was a first for me, but it turned out to be a great idea. The turkey was hand-carved and a bit dry, but once I added the delicious gravy, the whole dish came together. Overall, the food was fresh, hearty, and definitely worth the price. I'll be back to try their breakfast, which seemed like a popular choice among other diners, and I'm already looking forward to it!

Everything was 5 star. The food was tasty, our server was friendly, fast, and accommodating. The interior was warm and inviting. The menu was vast; more of a full restaurant than just a diner.

Updated! This is a review about actually dining in. Usually, I get take-out. The patty melt in the diner was to die for! Just saying! I went with my family, and we all loved it! The service was excellent, and the manager/owner walked around checking on everyone. The diner was clean, and the food was excellent, diner-wise! My sister-in-law had the Bruschetta burger topped with bruschetta tomatoes, mozzarella cheese & pesto. She opted out of the bun. My companions are on a low-carb diet. My brother got the Cobb salad. He thoroughly enjoyed it. There was A LOT of dressing on it, but as a low-carb lover, he appreciated it. I got the patty melt, my ultimate fave at The Stirling Diner! It was amazing! The fries on all our meals were hot and crispy! Not cornstarch coating, which is my pet peeve! Don't believe the haters. We had a great experience on our Saturday afternoon. 8/2024. Thank you for making my family happy!!!

One of the better diners around. Strong burger and fries at reasonable prices. Solid classic diner. Had a beef burger deluxe and fries with cole slaw and pickle ($11.99). The burger wasn't as juicy and flavorful as I remembered, but it could've been because I ordered it medium well instead of medium. The fries also were less crisp than before. Everything was decent, but underwhelming compared to this place before and compared to other diners. Also, the prices went up. The beef burger deluxe was $2 more than last time.

Good breakfast. Good coffee. Long wait for service and food. Not a long wait to be seated. Dated decor but it works.

Great Food, Great Service, Great Diner!! With everything this place has going for it Lord Stirling himself would be extremely proud to dine here. Breakfast, Lunch, or Dinner you can't go wrong with anything off this enormous menu.     I'll spare you the details on every delicious meal that I've enjoyed here so far but the most memorable highlights would have to include; the Sautéed Shrimp & Chicken with Angel Hair Pasta, the Chicken Francaise over Rice, the Char Broiled Sirloin with Mushroom Sauce, and the Lemon Chicken Oreganato with Oven Browned Potatoes, just to name a few. And stay tuned too because there will definitely be more deliciousness added to this tasty list in the not to distant future.     Dine-in or Outside in their amazing fountain garden area, or just stop by for some Takeout but anyway you get here you'll be glad you did. Come And Get Your Munch On!!
